Bro. Andrew Barbosa

Andrew Barbosa is an Independent Baptist missionary who, alongside his wife Mel (Melinda) and their family, is actively preparing to move to the Philippines. He worked for Bearing Precious Seeds while attending FirstBible International. His sending church is First Baptist Church of Milford, Ohio.

In June of 1994, Brian Cone accepted Christ as his saviour at youth camp. He soon felt the Lord calling me to preach which led me to enroll in seminary. For the last several years he has had the priviledge to serve full time on staff at Joshua Baptist Church. During this time, he served as the Bus Director, Youth Pastor, Children's Pastor, Missions Director, and Sunday School Superintendent. At a missions conference in 2009, he began to feel the call on his life in regards to missions. While seeking the Lord's will, with the guidance of his pastor, Dr. Wolfenbarger, the Lord revealed to him the country of Thailand. During his survey trip to Thailand, the Lord made his call certain.

Serving the Lord in Thailand has been quite interesting for Bro. Cone. They have had challenges but they have also had lots of blessings. He counts it a privilege to be able to teach the Young Professionals Sunday School Class every Sunday as well as Preaching twice a month. Learning the language has been quite difficult since it is a tonal language. But, we know that with God all things are possible.

Bro. Joshua Marquardt is serving as a Member Missionary.  Before leaving for the mission field, Bro. Marquardt joined the Worth Baptist Church staff as the Children's Pastor in August 2023. He graduated from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA with a Bachelor in Biblical Studies in 2021. Before joining Worth, he served in the college ministry at Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, California for two years under the leadership of Dr. Paul Chappell.

Senior Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma

Pastor Stephen Volante was born just outside Boston, but was raised in both Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts. He married his high school sweetheart Laurel Towne from Northampton, and trained to be an engineer at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts. After working ten years in many types of building construction, Steve felt God’s call to the ministry. He received his training at Heritage Baptist Institute of the Bible, in New England.

During a mission’s conference in his home church pastored at that time by his father, John Volante, he surrendered to serve the Lord as a missionary wherever God would call him. On a mission’s trip to Ghana to visit John Hayes, God spoke clearly to Steve’s heart. He and Laurel left to serve the Lord in Ghana in August of 1995. God was mightily blessing the work, and many were receiving Christ as Savior. However, in March of 1997, God called Laurel home to glory. Steve returned to the USA broken wondering how God would help him raise their three dear children alone. Like only God can do, he brought Missionary Michelle Tilson into Steve’s life to help him live and dream again. They were married on August 29, 1998, and returned to Ghana a year later to continue the work God had entrusted to Steve’s care.

Pastor Stephen Volante was called to be the senior pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma on July 1, 2019.

Independent Baptist Fellowship International missionary.

Bro. Walter Stevens, a dedicated missionary to The Roma, also known as the Romani people, currently serves as President of Roma Outreach Missions Association (R.O.M.A.), located at Bible Baptist church in Bradenton, FL. ROMA. is an organization helping not only to reach the Gypsies of the world but also other misplaced and marginalized people.

Bro. Zachary Gillit is a member missionary of Worth Baptist Church currently serving in Brighton, United Kingdom. Pastor at East Birmingham Baptist Chapel, working with Crown Christian Heritage Trust.

Dr. Bill and Marcy Patterson's main focus has been Bible translation and church planting, but they have also worked in training Bible translators, establishing Bible institutes, developing ministries for youth and children, and speaking in conferences. Dr. Patterson is the President of Mount Abarim Baptist Mission International and the Director of the Bethesda Children’s Homes in Tlapa, Mexico. They are member missionaries of Worth Baptist Church.

Dr. Ellis is the national field representative for the FBFI (Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International) Commission on Chaplains which endorses chaplains to serve in the U.S. military.

Dr. Don Sisk was called to preach at the age of 21.  He has pastored several churches, including some during his college years and another in Kentucky four years after graduation.  Before beginning his missionary work in Japan, he served as associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Harvey, Illinois.

In 1965, he went to Japan with Baptist International Missions, Inc.(BIMI)  There the Lord established two churches, on in Osaka and one in Kobe.  Dr. Sisk also helped to establish the Kansai Independent Baptist Bible School and became the first president of the school.  He served as Far East Director with BIMI for ten years and then continued with the mission agency as President and General Director for nineteen years.

From 2003 to 2017, Dr. Sisk serves as the chairman of the Missions Department of West Coast Baptist College, a ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, California.

Dr. Sisk currently serves as President/General Director Emeritus of BIMI.  The mission has 800 plus missionaries serving in over 100 fields around the world.  He has traveled and preached in approximately eighty different countries.  He travels to preach in mission conferences, Bible colleges, seminaries, and churches around the world, encouraging and training missionaries.

 

Dr. Ken Fielder serves as the Director of WorldView Ministries. With a focus on unreached people groups, we are committed both to the training of Bible translators and to the translation and publishing of Scriptures.

Dr. Mike Patterson was a Missionary to Mexico and the President Emeritus of Mount Abarim Baptist International (mountabarim.org). Dr. Mike preached for over fifty years, serving the Lord as a missionary, church planter, and director of the Bethesda Children’s Homes in Tlapa, Gro. Mexico. Dr. Mike and Mrs. Becky Patterson are members of Worth Baptist Church.

Dr. Ralph G. McCoy, 1915-1996, began his missionary service in 1954. After fruitful ministries in Northern Mexico and Central America he began a new work in Southern Mexico. The unique demands of this multifaceted work necessitated the founding of what has become the Mt. Abarim Baptist Mission International, Inc. in 1967. Mount Abarim works closely with and is operated under the authority of the local church.

 

Dr. Ron Maggard along with his wife Frances have been in missionary evangelism for over 30 years. He is currently pastor of Iglesia Bautista Faro de Luz in Jupiter, Florida but travels extensively to evangelize, educate and establish workers and churches worldwide.
