Outline:

- If there is one word we should associate with the resurrection, it is the word, "hope."
- Mary loved a lot because she had been forgiven for a lot.
- She was the last person at the cross and the first person at the tomb.

John 20:11-18
- Easter tells us two things about suffering and grief:
  * Our God knows suffering.
  * He suffered to put an end to suffering.
- Historical faith says, "He is the Lord." Saving faith says, "He is my Lord."
- The resurrected Christ is just the first of many resurrections.
- Jesus said, "Mary, my presence in you will be better than my presence with you."

What does this mean to us?
1. God loves and uses flawed, ordinary people.
2. God rewards those who seek Him with all their hearts.
3. When you meet Jesus He may not change your circumstances, but He will change your perspective.
4. Those who know He is alive must tell those who do not know.
5. Because Jesus is alive, hope is alive.
