Pastor Tyler Gillit was called to be Worth’s Senior Pastor in January of 2016 after he served on staff for eight years. During that time, he served as the Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor, founded the WBC chapter of Reformers Unanimous, and developed our short-term missions program.
Pastor Gillit graduated with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree from The Crown College in 2006 and a Master of Ministries Degree from Crown Seminary in 2007. He and Tori were married in 2006 and they have two children, Will and Anna. He is passionate about expository preaching and making disciples in Fort Worth and around the world.

Six Principles for Remaining Faithful and Fruitful in the Troubling Times:
1. Prepare Yourself - Brace for the Storm - It's Coming (Daniel 12:1)
2. Your Name is Known and You are Precious to Him - Live with the End in View (Daniel 12:2-3)
3. Treasure God's Word - truth will inoculate you against a lie (Daniel 12:4, 9)
4. Trust God's timing - evil is almost out of time and God is always on time (Daniel 12:5-8)
5. Pursue spiritual growth - understanding that our trouble is not going to last forever and that one day God will glorify us and make us like Jesus - this should motivate us to be more like Him in the here and now (Daniel 12:10)
6. Endure to the end, expecting a reward - the finish line is getting closer - a reward is getting nearer (Daniel 12:11-13)
