   A. He saw soil (hearts) that needed seeds (words)

II. What is the Wayside?
  A. The path (soil) that is traveled on
    1. Passed over time and time again, thus it becomes hard
  B. Seeds that fall on the wayside...
    1. don't produce
    2. are devoured (v. 4)
  C. People of the Wayside
    1. Ones who have ears, but do not hear
    2. Ones who have eyes, but do not see
    3. Ultimately, have callous hearts
